job description - Marketing Communications Manager
Develop strategic marketing communications plans and tactics including digital marketing, e-mailers, display ads, and social media to effectively promote partner merchants and drive product sales volume.- Day-to-day client servicing and strategic counselling to clients
- Develop pitch decks for existing and new business clients
- Manage, strengthen and develop relationships with the support team.
- Direct and work with in-house and outside designers, writers and agencies
- Ensure compliance and provide direction on appropriate name usage and brand application.
- Provide direction and ongoing support to the marketing team as projects or challenges occur.
- Develop the strategy and yearly calendar for all center-led consumer-facing promotions.
- Evolve consumer marketing communications toolkit and process to be more efficient, drive greater action and better leverage technology.
- Support the Sr Marketing Manager on marketing communications needs for other lines of business.
What you bring to the table:
- A university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales and/or marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing management, executing integrated demand generation campaigns, and/or public relations in an agency environment.
- Superior understanding of the Chinese Canadian business landscape
- Experience with digital and email marketing strategy, and marketing automation platforms
- Knowledge of content marketing, copywriting, event marketing and social media marketing.
- Experience in trade shows and conferences and related marketing and logistics
- Confident, driven, and dynamic leader.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot branding opportunities.
- Self-driven, a strategic thinker that is results-driven.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
- Experience within the fintech, payments or credit card industry will be an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives.
- Being bilingual in both English and Mandarin would be a plus.
