job description - Business Development Manager
- Develop and implement business development strategies in line with the company's objectives and Point S Canada's banner expansion plan ;
- Implement an action plan to identify potential customers in the territory ;
- Follow up on the action plan and report on a regular basis on current activities and possible issues ;
- Manage the activities of its territory in order to achieve the company's development objectives ;
- Assume leadership of the entire process of development and identification of decision-makers to obtaining or renewing contract signatures ;
- Implement and maintain a rigorous process for managing and following up on the development activities of target clients ;
- Actively participate in corporate events involving your own territory ;
- Advise and direct clients and prospects on the various brands of products offered by the company ;
- Present and ensure understanding of the various tire and specialty product purchasing programs ;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tires and other products ;
- Conduct competitive market analysis and share research with the team ;
- Build long term relationships with various tire representatives and manufacturers and other suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years sales or development experience ;
- Experience selling on the road. (essential) ;
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic selling and win-win negotiations for long-term partnership development ;
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, including the executive level of potential and existing customers ;
- Strong leadership skills ;
- Good communicator, team player ;
- Business acumen and results orientation ;
- Customer service and listening skills ;
- Rigor in identifying the right opportunities and in following up on files ;
- Ability to manage several files simultaneously ;
- Bilingualism. (French and English) (Asset) ;
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM technologies.
